Getting started

I have never taken a writing class before. Can I still join?

You don’t need to have any prior workshop experience to join us. We offer courses at a variety of levels, for beginners as well as writers.

I want to take a course but I don’t know which would suit me. Can anyone help ?

We’d love to help you choose a class. Just send an Email across to [email protected]__ and we would be happy to find you a suitable class.

The class I would like to enrol for requires a writing sample, how long should it be?

No more than 500 words, my friend, and then you may leave the rest to us


I have applied. When will I hear back?

Depending on the competitiveness of the course, your wait may vary. Our workshops are filled on a rolling basis, so as soon as we receive your application, we sit down to process your needs. We read each application thoroughly, and will let you know if you’ve been accepted. Generally, you’ll hear back within a couple days of submitting your application.

What do I need to do to prepare for the workshop?

You may have an small writing task assigned to you, to be submitted before you arrive, which we will let you know via Email. So please keep checking that. Other than that you don’t need to do anything, just pack your bags and get going!

Absence or cancellation

If I have to miss one session, what do I do?

Please contact [email protected]_______ as soon as you are sure that you will miss a session. We will try our best to address your absence. The class payment is non-refundable. You can, however, use the amount towards another class or service.

If I have to urgently leave in the middle of the retreat, am I eligible for a refund?

The advance payment for the retreat is non-refundable. You are not eligible for a refund on the full amount if you cancel less than twenty days prior to the retreat. However, you can transfer the amount to avail of another service.
