Founder & Managing Director
Tara helps businesses scale faster through strategic content creation and audience building. She has built the company from the ground up to a fully-fledged content power house, and was the first to transform the creative skill-building economy in India by launching one of the country’s premier writing retreats as well as mentorships and training programs.
In her role as Managing Director, Tara steers creative, research, and production teams through a long-term content vision, and creates globally successful content IPs with loyal followers. As an entrepreneur, she speaks regularly about the future of India’s dynamic creator economy. She has previously worked at Penguin India, SheThePeople.TV, and BloombergQuint. Her writing has appeared in CondeNast Traveller, Scroll, Midday, and Outlook, among others. She also worked as an editor at Writer’s Side, Asia’s largest literary agency. Tara is an alumna of Columbia University and Imperial College, and currently lives in Mumbai. Her dog Simba is Bound’s cutest team member and mascot.
Creative Director
Aishwarya creates and grows all of Bound’s intellectual property products – like books, podcasts, newsletters, courses, etc. and has been the driving force for hits like ‘Books and Beyond’ and ‘Rumors’. Featured as India’s ‘Top 30 Women in Content’ in 2022, Aishwarya oversees all of Bound’s services and specializes in strategy and execution across formats.
Driven by her mission to uncover ground-breaking and impactful stories, she has mentored a wide range of creators, and demystified India’s podcasting and publishing industries through her guidebooks and her video podcast, ‘The Book People’. She has been featured in The Hindu, PrintWeek, Midday and Network Capital.
Michelle is Bound’s most beloved and sought-after mentor and instructor. She has successfully curated, conducted, and facilitated classes for brands and writers based on her previous experience in HR. She has grown Bound’s popular mentorship program by developing a variety of free content resources, building outreach strategies, and designing impactful personalised curriculums
Michelle is an accomplished poet and writer, who has been published in over 70 publications. She has previously founded her own literary magazine “Kaani”. In addition, her critically acclaimed poetry chapbook, Gulf, was published in 2021. Being an alumna of the Seagull School of Publishing in Kolkata, she currently resides in Mumbai. She was born and raised in the Middle East, and loves to dance in her free time.
Editor – Writing & Mentorship
Rhea is Bound’s resident editor who handles all our writing and book-related services. She builds and manages teams of editors and writers for large-scale projects. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s in English Literature from Fergusson College, Pune. Her writing has been published in Feminism In India among other publications. She specializes in translation studies and postcolonial literature.
